Nancy is available to work with programs in a variety of ways to help support the delivery of high quality services to children and families, as well as to support the staff in the demanding work of being emotionally available to young children and families on a daily basis.
Her consultation can include child/classroom observations when teachers or parents have concerns about specific behaviors a child is exhibiting. It can also consist of classroom observations geared toward supporting teachers as they address difficult times of day, challenging subgroups of children, or a number of other issues that arise in classrooms on a regular basis. After child/classroom observations are completed, Nancy meets with teachers and/or parents to offer strategies for effective interventions and/or individualized planning when indicated.
In addition, Nancy can consult with administrators to help support them as they address issues related to intra-staff relations, personnel challenges, even motivating staffs to move toward changes in curriculum planning or approaches with children in the classroom.
As a seasoned clinician, Nancy brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a sense of humor to her consulting work. Fees are negotiable and arrangements can be tailored to meet the needs of each individual program.
